Former Clinton strategist James Carville predicted Democratic nominee [Joe Biden] will be declared the winner of the upcoming U.S. presidential election by 10:30 p.m. ET on election night, with the “Ragin’ Cajun” anticipating he’ll be opening a bottle of champagne to celebrate Biden’s victory on Nov. 3.
In October 2016, Carville predicted that Trump would drop out of the presidential race in an interview with HBO’s [Bill Maher]while also predicting a landslide victory for Democratic nominee [Hillary Clinton].
“I think he’s going to quit. Really, right now, I’m saying right here,” he said at the time.
Carville [also predicted] in July that Trump would drop out of his race against Biden.
“I think there is a significant chance he doesn’t run,” Carville told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on July 2. “This thing is going so poorly. He’s so far back. It doesn’t make much sense for him to run.”

A good friend of mine had a pretty bad stutter 20 years ago that’s morphed into a pretty mild stutter as he hits 50. He grew up with it of course.
When I first met him he was a rising star at Sony who went into corporate board and did presentations for bigwigs at Fox and things like that. Immediately you know someone has character if they can do that. You don’t have to wait years to get to know them and find out.
After hanging out with him for a while I’d start to hitch on words. I was afraid I’d pick it up.
You’re right of course. 0.1% is already a tiny threshold, but 0.006% is even better. As long as Biden maintains a lead.

The power just went out here in a big chunk of my neighborhood. Must be the Russians testing their control over the power grid.
I live on a busy intersection of 2 4-lane roads. The last time this happened at night there will multiple wrecks. People don’t even slow down - they just fly through the intersection.
I had to decide if I wanted to film a wreck or try to stop one. I decided to jump in the road with my flashlights and get them to slow down. I was screaming at some of these idiots. The crazy guy across the way who gets into imaginary arguments with himself yelled at me and I called him out for being a lunatic. Not my finest moment.
Power is still out but the cops are here finally.

So if I understand those updates in the Trump thread correctly, the only reason no outlet has called it yet for Biden is because we’re all waiting for someone to have the balls to just tell Trump he’s lost?
Apparently no one has told him he can’t win. He’s just watching endless coverage of various outlets saying it’s still too close to call.
