I suspect that a growing reticence toward calling states/the election is that literally the only thing protecting American democracy right now is a cry to count all of the votes.

My guess is that the networks are hesitant to call it until its mathematically impossible for Trump to win, just so that he canât use it as an argument point against them. âLook as soon as Biden took the lead you called it, when there were still votes left to count!â
More as amusement than anything else.

Around 3am people got the treat of overhearing my neighbor tell me about some crazy dude blastn a boombox and following people walking their dogs or just going for a middle of the night stroll.

If thereâs one thing this election has taught us it is that there are dems in the deepest of deep red districts, and deplorables in the brightest of blue ones. Anyone else remember Blue Idaho when they dropped their mail-in votes first? Because I do.
